This is the lead single from oh-so underrated K-Os’ third and exceptional LP, 'Atlantis – Hymns For Disco' and for those of you fed up with formularised R&B, you could do worse than grab a listen.

The tune kicks off with the riff from Elvis Presley’s 'Jailhouse Rock' and from there the Canadian singer/ rapper/ producer/ all-round musical whiz kid throws in all sorts: rocky guitar, tight hip-hop rhymes, a catchy and melodic chorus, scratches, sardonic delivery, indie influences and big beats. It’s not R&B as we know it, but why should we be restricted by boundaries and genre rules? Here, K-Os eschews the cliché and moves things forward.

You’ll either love or hate it. We’re choosing to do the former.
